When you use Nirapod Astha, we may collect the following types of information:

- Mother’s Name
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Profile / ID Card image (when you upload for verification) -

- The complete history of all your Services is organized in a separate tab.
- Mobile Recharge History
- Drive-related services
- Detailed information including date, time and amount
- You can easily see what, when and how much money you have transacted at any time.

- Login PIN / password (stored securely using hashing)
- Device identifiers (e.g., FCM token) for push notifications and security -
Chat & Communication Data
- In‑app chat messages with support/admin
- Uploaded images or voice messages in chat (if you use those features) -
Device & Technical Information
- Device model, OS version, app version
- IP address and basic log data (for security, fraud prevention, and diagnostics)
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for sending notifications
2. Android Permissions We Use
According to the App’s AndroidManifest, Nirapod Astha requests the following permissions and uses them as described below:

INTERNET
Required to communicate with our secure backend (APIs) to log in, fetch balance, process recharge / deposit / withdraw, chat with support, etc. -
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE & ACCESS_WIFI_STATE
Used to check whether your device has an active internet/Wi‑Fi connection so the app can gracefully handle offline states and show proper error messages. -
POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Used to show push notifications such as transaction status, security alerts, and important updates. Notifications are only enabled with your consent on Android 13+. -
USE_BIOMETRIC / USE_FINGERPRINT
Used (where supported) to allow quick and secure login into your account using fingerprint/biometric authentication. Biometric data is never sent to our servers; it is handled only by the device’s secure hardware. -
RECORD_AUDIO
Used only when you choose to record and send voice messages in chat or similar in–app features. We do not record audio in the background without your action. -
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (and related media access on newer Android versions)
Used to select and upload images/documents (e.g., ID cards) and to cache media. We do not browse your entire storage; only the files you explicitly choose are accessed. -
HARDWARE_TEST (with tools:ignore="ProtectedPermissions")
This permission exists in the manifest for specific vendor tooling. We do not use it to run arbitrary hardware tests or collect sensitive hardware data from users.
Note: The App does not request location, contacts, or SMS permissions in the current version.
3. Third‑Party Services & SDKs
The App integrates with the following major third‑party services:

Google Firebase
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for push notifications
- May be used for analytics / crash reporting in some builds -
Google Play Services
Used by Firebase and other core Android services for reliable operation. -
Facebook SDK
Declared in the manifest for analytics / campaign tracking. We do not post anything on your behalf without explicit consent. -
Payment Gateways (e.g., card and wallet processors)
Used to handle payments such as deposits, recharges or service fees. Sensitive card data is handled by the payment provider, not stored by us.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To create, verify, and manage your Nirapod Astha account.
- To show accurate balances, transaction history, and service details inside the app.
- to get Mobile Recharge History, Drive-related transactions and Detailed information including date, time and amount
- To send you notifications about transaction status, security alerts, and offers (with your consent).
- To provide in‑app support/chat and respond to your queries.
- To secure the platform, detect fraud, and prevent misuse.
- To improve our services via aggregated analytics and diagnostics.
5. Data Retention
We keep your account data and transaction history for as long as your account remains active, and for a reasonable period thereafter as required for legal, accounting, or fraud–prevention purposes.
If you request deletion of your account, we will remove or anonymize your personal data, except where we are legally required to retain some records (for example, financial records or dispute–resolution data).
6. Data Sharing & Transfers
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data only with:
- Service providers and partners who help us operate the App, such as payment gateways, SMS/email providers, cloud hosting, and analytics, under strict data–protection agreements.
- Government or law‑enforcement agencies when required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
7. Children’s Privacy
Nirapod Astha is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 years of age. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), secure storage on our servers, access controls, and regular security review. However, no system is 100% secure, and you should also protect your login PIN and device.
8. Location
Our app may access your device location to automatically detect your country and improve the user experience. This feature is optional and the app can still be used without enabling location.
9. Cookies & Tracking
The mobile app itself does not use browser cookies. However, our backend and third‑party services may use device identifiers or similar technologies for security, analytics, and notification delivery.
10. Your Rights & Choices
- View and update your profile information from inside the app.
- Control notification settings from your device OS and within the app (where available).
- Request account and data deletion at any time (see link below).
